TERMS OF SERVICE

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By accessing or using Foreword (“the Service”) at tryforeword.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and Foreword (“we”, “us”, or “our”). If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Foreword is an AI-powered brand monitoring platform that queries third-party AI engines — including but not limited to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Grok — on your behalf and presents the results in a structured dashboard. The Service provides brand visibility scores, source attribution, competitor analysis, and actionable fix lists based on those AI-generated results.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • - AI-generated results are produced by independent third-party systems that Foreword does not control
  • - Scan results may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inconsistent between AI providers
  • - Foreword makes no representation that AI outputs reflect reality, fact, or current information about your brand
  • - The Service is an informational tool only — it does not guarantee any improvement in how AI engines describe your brand

3. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

To access the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • - Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • - Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • - Notify us immediately at support@tryforeword.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • - Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information, violate these Terms, or are used for fraudulent purposes.

5. FREE SCAN

We offer one free scan with no credit card required. During your free scan:

  • - You can run a single scan across all 5 AI engines
  • - No charges will be applied for the free scan
  • - After your free scan, you must upgrade to a paid plan to continue running scans
  • - You are not automatically charged after the free scan

6. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS

Plans and pricing:

  • - Starter — $89/month: 1 brand, 10 Instagram posts, 2 Reels, captions and scheduling, AI visibility health check at setup, weekly impact digest
  • - Studio — $179/month: 1 brand, 22 Instagram posts, 6 Reels, AI visibility health check at setup, weekly digest + monthly report, Google Business monthly auto-update
  • - Agency — $449/month: up to 5 brands, 36 posts + 12 Reels per brand, AI visibility health check at setup, white-label impact digest, Google Business weekly auto-sync, priority WhatsApp support

Prices are in US Dollars. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

Billing: All payments are processed by Paddle. By providing payment information, you authorise Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the same price unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time by logging into your account settings or emailing support@tryforeword.com. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: All payments are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for partial months, plan downgrades, or unused periods. If you experience a technical issue preventing use of the Service, contact support@tryforeword.com.

7. ACCEPTABLE USE

You must not:

  • - Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
  • - Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the source code
  • - Use automated tools to bulk-download data beyond normal use
  • - Impersonate any person or entity
  • - Attempt unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • - Transmit malware, spam, or harmful content
  • - Resell or sublicense the Service without written consent (Agency white-label is permitted within plan scope)

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, scan methodology, and scoring system, is owned by Foreword. You retain ownership of data you input (brand name, queries). By using the Service, you grant Foreword a limited licence to use your data solely to provide the Service to you.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Service integrates with third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Perplexity, Google, xAI) and infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel, Paddle, Resend, Inngest). We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of these services. Source attribution links to third-party websites — we do not endorse or control their content.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED SCAN RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FOREWORD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. FOREWORD'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FOREWORD IN THE SIX MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Foreword and its officers, employees, and agents from claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Informal resolution: Contact support@tryforeword.com first. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days.

Arbitration: Unresolved disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in Mumbai, India, in English, by a single arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India).

Class action waiver: You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, India for matters not subject to arbitration.

15. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes we will update the “Last updated” date, post a notice on the website, and notify users by email at least 7 days before changes take effect.

16. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Account data may be deleted after a 30-day grace period.

17. SEVERABILITY

If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy at tryforeword.com/privacy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Foreword regarding the Service.
